I’m an experienced Data Analyst with more than 8 years of hands-on experience in Business Operations and Data Analytics. In my career, I enjoy working with and analyzing data to tell stories that create impact. In my personal life, I enjoy generating dopamine from learning and doing new things, dancing, being in nature, eating good food, and many more.
My name is pronounced as “Twee”. It means “jade” in Vietnamese, so sometimes I go by Jade.
I’ve lived outside of my home country for more than one-third of my life. More than 10 years! Lots of stories, some regrets.
I was born and raised in a small town of northern Vietnam. When I was 20, I left Vietnam to study in Japan. After graduating with a bachelor degree in Management, I worked for a large Japanese corporation called Konica Minolta. Commuting 2 hours everyday to and from Tokyo station was a pain, but felt normal for all Tokyo office workers.
After 8 years in Japan, one day, I thought I’d leave Japan for a while and come back (I never did). San Francisco welcomed me with a cold summer fog. Knowing nobody in the city, I felt like I had to build my career and my network from the ground up. But, with a lot of effort and some luck, I successfully graduated from the MBA program, and made a lot of friends! Fast forward 5 years later, I’m still here in SF, working as a “tech worker”.
You will find more details of the story in my websites below, if you read Vietnamese. Otherwise, check out my LinkedIn, or send me a message and we can connect over tea or coffee.
What else about me? I’m a writer.

I write about self-growth, building habits, career development, design-thinking frameworks, and more. I published an ebook – “The ultimate guide to job-hunting in Japan”. (Vietnamese)
